The Synergy Organization is proud to have been retained by Lima Memorial Health System, an affiliate of ProMedica in Western Ohio, to conduct the nationwide search for its Controller. This award winning, financially secure, not-for-profit health system is comprised of a 328-bed acute care hospital, an extended network of primary care, pediatric and specialist physicians and more than 1,500 associates. The Controller will have the opportunity to report to the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of the system and will serve as a key member of the Financial Services and Accounting teams. This new leader will also enjoy promoting a positive, collegial, patient and employee-focused culture throughout the system and will streamline process improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery, profitability and efficiency.
Working in close collaboration with the Directors of Accounting and Financial Services, this new leader will develop, coordinate and administer finance, accounting, financial/accounting systems, internal controls and auditing for the system. The Controller will also have the opportunity to ensure the ongoing professional development of Accounting and Financial Services staff to promote their progressive and up-to-date knowledge, competencies, skills and customer focus in support of the Lima Memorial Health System mission.
The successful candidate will bring their exceptional leadership, communication and teambuilding skills to the position along with at least 5 years of progressive experience and 3 years of leadership experience in Hospital Accounting & Finance. This new leader will possess a Masters in Business Administration or a CPA along with a deep understanding of regulations, industry trends, Best Practices and applicable laws.
