The Synergy Organization is proud to have been retained by Lima Memorial Health System, an affiliate of ProMedica in Western Ohio, to conduct the nationwide search for its Executive Director of Nursing. The Executive Director of Nursing will report directly to the Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer and will serve as a key member of the leadership team. This new leader will promote a positive, safe, collegial, employee and patient-focused culture throughout the system, and will provide leadership to assigned inpatient and outpatient departments within the division of nursing services. The Executive Director of Nursing also will enjoy building a collaborative, proactive environment through developing relationships and role modeling a clear, respectful, trusting, communication style. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders, the new Executive Director of Nursing will formulate objectives and implement operational plans for the delivery of healthcare services designed to meet Lima Memorial Health System’s patient and physician satisfaction, employee engagement, and organizational and financial goals.
The successful candidate will bring their exceptional communication and teambuilding skills, at least 5 years of acute care nursing experience and 5 years of recent leadership experience. A Masters of Nursing or business-related Masters is required, along with a current, unrestricted RN license. Experience administering Collective Bargaining Agreements in a union environment is strongly preferred.
