The Director of Human Resources will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and talented team of leaders to drive talent management best practices and provide strategic and operational direction for MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, a state-of-the-art 192-bed hospital in Clinton, MD.

This leader will serve as a mentor, thought leader, resident expert, business partner and strategic advisor to executive and departmental leadership, and will enjoy implementing system programs at the entity level to align policies, processes and practices to ensure uniformity in service delivery and exceptional results.

The successful candidate will bring their passion for providing exceptional service, excellent communication skills and deep experience with interpreting laws, rules, regulations and standards relating to hospital accreditation and performance to the position. A Masters degree in Human Resources or related field is required, along with 5 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience in a large multi-location hospital or health system setting.  Candidates with additional HR certifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
