The Director of Human Resources will report to the Vice President of Human Resources, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Montgomery Medical Center and will provide oversight and direction to the Human Resources, Telecommunications and Volunteer departments for the hospital. This new leader will be an integral part of the hospital leadership team and will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collegial team of professionals in a high energy, patient and employee-focused environment.  In addition, the Director of Human Resources will have opportunities to mentor, develop and motivate staff to achieve exceptional results and to leverage their diverse expertise in areas including Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations and HRIS Implementation.

The successful candidate will bring exceptional communication skills, a positive attitude and a demonstrated, progressive record of Human Resources Leadership success to the position. Significant experience with Compensation, HRIS Support Systems and relevant laws, rules and standards are required, along with a Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred) and Human Resources Certification (PHR/SPHR).
