The Synergy Organization is proud to have been retained by Western Maryland Health System (WMHS) in Cumberland, MD to conduct the nationwide search for their Director of Home Health Services and Hospice.

Patients in the tri-state area are offered convenient access to care through Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, a beautiful 275-bed acute care hospital built in 2009, Physician Practices, Outpatient Locations, Urgent Care Centers, a Skilled Nursing Facility and Home Care and Hospice Services. With over 2,300 employees, 250 physicians and 90 advanced practice professionals on staff, WMHS is recognized as both an Employer of Choice and the largest employer in the region.
The Director of Home Health Services and Hospice will report to the SVP, Chief Operating Officer and enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a visionary and collegial leadership team. This innovative and entrepreneurial new leader will have the opportunity to generate and implement an operational plan to further WMHS’ mission and strategic objectives.
This exceptional new leader will provide guidance to the Home Health Services and Hospice department, help to manage their material, financial, and human resources functions while working collaboratively with other leaders throughout WMHS to achieve department and systemwide goals.
The successful candidate will bring their nursing leadership experience, a passion for providing exceptional quality care and at least 3-years experience in the Home Health environment. A Bachelors Degree in a related field is required (Masters preferred) along with deep knowledge of Medicare and Joint Commission requirements related to Home Health. Candidates who have experience with Hospice regulations are encouraged to apply.
