As a key member of the Nursing Leadership team, the Senior Director, Maternal Child Health will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer and will enjoy being responsible for the delivery of exceptional quality patient care.  This new leader will plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the overall clinical nursing practice in support of the system’s Magnet® achievements, and facilitate open communication to promote performance improvement and consistency of care across the continuum.

 

This opportunity is ideal for an exceptional nursing leader who has a strong commitment to creating and maintaining an environment focused on the patient experience, experience creating and leading high performing teams as well as influencing and managing change.

 

This collaborative new leader will bring their proven communication and teambuilding skills, a passion for providing patient and family-focused care, as well as a Masters Degree in Nursing.  A PA Nursing License and ANCC Certification are required along with 5-10 years of demonstrated experience as a Maternal Child Health leader in a high-volume, high-acuity Maternal Child  Health department. Candidates with leadership experience in a Magnet designated facility are strongly encouraged to apply.
