The System also provides graduate medical education for residents, provides fellowships and maintains teaching affiliations with Jefferson Medical Center (Thomas Jefferson University); Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine; Temple University School of Medicine; Drexel College of Medicine; Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine; and, University of Pennsylvania. Drexel College of Medicine will be building a 2nd medical campus in 2020.
Recent system announcements include a branch medical school campus with Drexel University anticipated for the 2020-2021 academic year and a newly formed joint venture with United Surgical Partners International (USPI) to improve access for patients to high quality surgical procedures.
The System Director of Medical Staff Recruitment will report to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and will enjoy collaboratively designing, delivering and continually improving upon the medical staff recruitment function for the system. This new leader will also direct the successful and efficient delivery of Physician and Advanced Practitioner talent for the system in alignment with the growth, mission and vision of Tower Health.
The successful candidate will bring a passion for talent acquisition, exceptional communication and team building skills and at least three to five years of demonstrated Medical Staff Recruitment leadership experience. A Bachelors Degree is required (Masters preferred). Candidates with hospital and/or high-volume medical group talent acquisition leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
